About:Chinese Currency & Money Exchange

what is the best way to get cash for British citizens in China

Are there ATM machines or is it best to take travellers checques.Are Dollars,Euros.or Sterling easiest to exchange?

Hi, it is easy to withdraw cash at the ATMs in China. Also in the banks (personally, the Bank of China is most trustworthy), you can easily exchange Chinese Yuan.

Thanks for your reply.I have travelled a lot but the far east is a bit of a mystery apart from Malaysia and it is always a concern about the best way to obtain and protect you cash.

Generally, it will be very easy to exchange money at the airport in China, where you will fly into and the spots for such services can be easily accessible. Don't worry!

Don't carry too much cash with you, because there are some thiefs indeed, especially in the big cities. Keep an eye on your pocket if you are in crowded street, bus or train.
