Passport Pages Exhaustion

Hello, I am currently employed in Shenzhen, under a working permit since one year. My passport is valid till 2017 however the pages are almost exhausted ( only 3 blank pages remain)

Q1 What Procedure should i follow? Renew/New passport
Q2 Should I apply in Guangzhou or Hong Kong ?
Q3 What documents are required to get the new/renewed passport?
Q4 Am i required to be present in person ?
Q5 After submission can the new passport be mailed back to me in Shenzhen
Q6 Am i required to submit the old passport ? As to return from Guangzhou to Shenzhen i would require to shoW identification at the train station.

I think you can apply from Indian consulate in Guangzhou. You should prepare the following documents before you ask for a renewal:
1.2 recent photos 40X40mm or 50X50mm, same as those used on your passport
2.Original passport with copy of same (first two pages, last two pages and current resident visa page)
3.A filled application form (downloaded from the website of Indian consulate in Guangzhou).

According to the requirements, original passport should presented at the counter when you apply for a new one and collect your new one.

A normal one costs RMB 496 and a jumbo one, RMB655.

As for mail service, I think you should ask the consulate because nothing related is found on the website. Contact information as follow:

Hello! I can see you asked this question a while back but I am in a similar situation and I wanted to confirm with you if you were able to get your passport through mail or did you have to go in person to collect it. Thank you
