About:Nanning Travel

Can we travel from DeTian to meet train at boarder to Ha Noi rather than backtracking to Nanning

Can this be done easily? I.e. is there a bus from DeTian Falls to say Pingxiang to board the over night train to Ha Noi? or must we travel back to NN city?

Avoiding going back to NN city, you can travel from Detian Fall to Daxin County, where take a bus to Chongzuo. There you can take a train or bus to Pingxiang to catch your train.
