About:Chinese Embassy in U.S.A.

Getting Chinese visa in person

I am an airline employee and I live in Phoenix,az.I use my passport every few days,same day service ASAP. Washington is the only office now that does this service. Since I live in Phoenix,can I still walk in to the Washington office? Have been trying phone number for a month to find out answer but no one ever answers phone. Thanks . Lisa porter

Since you are in Phoenix, you should apply from the Chinese consulate in Los Angeles. I read that the express or rush service is available there. You might confirm this by calling 213-201-1765 or go there for a visit.

it took about 25 calls, but i found out that i had to dial extension 3000 to get a real person to talk to at the Chicago office.
