Hi, I would like to visit the Great wall in first week of Jan, Will it be so cold?

Any Precautions needed? meaning in terms of clothing, etc.

Yes. It is cold in Jan. The weather forecast shows that the high temperature is around 5°C(41°F) and the low temperature is around -4°C(25°F). The temperature at the Great Wall will be lower with strong wind, so you'd better to wear the thick down coats.
