About:Chinese Embassy in India

I am from CHennai. I want to apply for a 2 week tourist visa to PRC.

I plan to go there in the the third week of March. Also tell me how much bank balance should I have

You should apply from the CVASC branch in New Delhi. It doesn't specify that you should provide the bank statement for a L type. Perhaps, you should contact them to confirm this.
