About:Year of the Horse

What does "an auspicious date according to the dates of birth of the bride and the bridegroom" mean?

My interpretation is choose a date that contains numbers also present in our birthdays. For example:

Brides birthday: 6 July 1978
Grooms birthday: 20 September 1978
Wedding date: 6 September 1978 - which is the day of the brides birthday, and the month of the grooms birthday.

Is my interpretation correct?

Hi, John. I think you misunderstand.
If we know the birth dates, then we know the astrology. The auspicous date is based on the Chinese astrology and Chinese fengshui. So that sentense tells so.

Thank you Belly, but I still don't understand. Can you give an example?
