Multi Entry Visa Extension

What if you have a multi entry type? Can you still apply for an extension? Mine will expire 11 days before my flight out of the country back home. Will they even know when I exit the country or how does that work?

I think you can ask for an extension but I am not sure if you still get the multiple one. When you exit PRC, they will have your records. So they definitely know whether you leave or not. I think you should go to the local entry and exit administration bureau immediately if you plan to extend your current one because the application should be submitted seven working days in advance.
