About:Yangdi Village

All boats from Yangdi to Xingping leave from the port?

So there are no bamboo rafts/ferries/boats leaving from YD village, but all of them leave from the port? Is it possible/recommended to bargain about the price? Also, I'm a bit worried about traveling by bus since the drivers might not speak English. Do they always stop at YD Lukou or we have to make sure they do?

All the ferries leave from the YD Port.
If you use the formal ferries, it is impossible to bargin. If you want to enjoy the private ferries own by local people, you can bargin. In my opinion, it is suggested to book this tour online, so that you can get a discount.
Many travelers will stop at YD Lukou, so please do not worry and you will not miss that place. Or you can ask the travelers to help you to remind you to get off that the crossroad.

Thank you so much for the info! I guess if we book online, it's going to be the expensive cruise one or? We'd prefer the bamboo raft or whatever it is, the cheaper the better. I read some people saying that they got the trip really cheaply by bargaining so I think we'll use that.
