About:Huangshan Travel

The correct route from Hangzhou Xiaoshan airport to Mt. Huangshan

Is this the correct route to travel from Xiaoshan Airport to Huangshan, 1) take a airport shuttle bus to reach Wulin Square, 2) take a taxi to West Bus Station, 3) take a direct bus to Tunxi HS city 4) take a cable to Mt. Huangshan.

Yes. The journey you plan is correctly.
From the HZ West Bus Station, you can also find the direct buses for the HS mountain attraction and you need to ask at the ticket office. If you can take that bus, it is much better.

Bruce - If I wanted to stay a night in Tunxi, can I still take the direct bus? Thank you

If you are referring the direct bus from Hangzhou to HS Scenic Area, I'd afraid you cannot take that after a night. However, after spending a night in Tunxi, you can easily catch a direct bus to Yellow Mountain. Don't worry!
