entrance fee + cable car for great wall

Hi, I will visit  Badaling shortly and I would like to go up by cable car and go down by foot. The cable car and the wall gate is not in the same place; can I buy ticket to the great wall at the end of the cable car journey? Or I have to walk to the gate buy a ticket then walk back to the cable car?thanks in advance.

The cable car and the Wall gate are not in the same place, but they are close to each other. Yes, you can buy the ticket for the Wall at the end of the cable car and you do not need to buy ticket at the entrance and then walk to take the cable car at the bottom. In my opinion, it is suggested to confirm it again at the entrace, so that you will not miss something.
