About:China Family Reunion Visa

recommended duration of stay for Q1

Hi there,

I'm about to move to China to live with my wife hopefully with a Q1 visa, but I was wondering what is the maximum duration of stay I can apply for. Is three years too long or should I just stick with one?

We may be opening a business there eventually, but it would be under her name, so I was thinking that Q1 would be the easiest for me, especially when we are just researching if it's viable or not.

Cheers

Well you can get a Q1 but if you have plans of opening up a business actually you can get a licence under the business . Because you need to have a work permit to run the business you can get a permit for 1 to 2 years depends of the visa officer
