About:China Family Reunion Visa

Need to own a house for a Q2 visa

I'm married in PRC and I might need a Q2 type, some guy told me I need own a house or my wife needs to own a house to get this? Is that true? thank you

haha house ?? No way a house the requirements don't mention house but medical bank statements and so on ..

How much money to do you need to have in the bank account? I assume this would be the Chinese wife's bank account?

it is not necessary that you need to own a house in order to acquire the Q2, however your spouse need to have a residence card of the povince or place where your both resided at the moment if your not residing to the own povince in which your spouse was born. Bank statement it depends to the PSB officer if he or she will require it for you to show it but as far as my experienced is concern bank statement is not necessary, only the marriage certificate, id and residence card of your chinese spouse is enough for Q2 and at the same time your temporary residence permit from the police station .

You must show 60,000 for 1 year visa and 100,000yuan for 2 years visa thats it :) And yes the must shown up in your wife name .
