hi there, im holding an australian passport, and im travelling to shen zhen and guangxi nanning with my wife, the reason for travelling there is taking a wedding pic and will be staying there for 3 days 2 night, how can i get one for shenzhen? for traveling to nanning, as my wife and i are visiting her grandfather there,

Which type should i need to apply for both trips, and where should i apply for it, can i apply it in chinese embassy? AND what kind of docuement do i need for shen zhen? as we are going to SZ by train, and booked a hotel there, how can i prove the ticket to embassy then? for visiting her grandfather, do i need to apply a L type or relative visiting type? sorry for too much questions.....

I think you can apply for a L type for your Shenzhen and Nanning trips. You should apply for it from the Chinese embassy or consulate in your area. The required documents are your passport, filled 2013 application form, recent passport size photo and invitation letter. The letter can be written by her grandfather. By the way, you should have a copy of her grandfather's ID card.

The invitation letter should include the following information:
1. The applicant's personal information: name, gender and date of birth
2. Itinerary information: date of arrival, date of depature and where youwill go.
3. The inviter's information: name, tel, address and his signature.
