How safe is the "street food" in Hong Kong?

Can you eat food from vendors without being concerned about ruining your vacation?

I usually go to HK for business trip and the street food is my favorite. It is safe enough, unless you have very weak immunity. And I believe that the street food from the vendors in HK cannot be missed for every visitor. It is worth a try!
Anyway, this is just my personal opinion!
