bus from hk airport to tung chung

Question

I will arive Hongkong airport at about 5.30 am. I intend to go directly to Tung Chung and thereafter to Big Buddha. Can you advise me should I take the bus from airport to Tung Chung at that hour or the MTR? I understand there is a bus no.23 to the Big Buddha, is it near the Tung Chung MTR station?

At that time, you can take bus no. S1 to Tung Chung Station. Upon arrival, you can walk several minutes to the cable car station to take that to Ngong Ping 360 directly, where the Giant Budhha is located. And the bus stop for bus no. 23 to the Giant Budhha is near to Tung Chung MTR Station.
