About:China Visa Application Procedure and Fee

I am trying to arrange a Visa for an Australian currently in Hong Kong

I am trying to arrange a Visa for an Australian musician currently in Hong Kong who is meant to be travelling to mainland China with the Royal Melbourne Philharmonic Orchestra. He returns to Australia on the 27th December but needs to fly back to mainland China immediately to join the rest of the group (approx 120 members of the RMPO and The Australian Children's Choir). At the processing centre in Melbourne he was advised to apply for it in Hong Kong as he has his passport with him there. Could you please confirm where he should do this and what documents he should supply. He will have passport, scan of passport, a passport photo, flight details, itinerary of time in China, official letter of invitation from China and will be able to fill out an application form. Is there anything else required? Where in Hong Kong can he arrange to get this inserted?

He already prepares all the required documents. He can visit the office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of PRC in HK for his application. It is located on the 3rd Floor, China Resources Building, No.26, Harbor Road, Wanchai, Hong Kong SAR
