About:Ticket Types on High Speed Trains

Changing tickets from 2nd Class to 1st Class

I have already purchased second class tickets for the G661 train i.e. Beijing to Xian. Can I refund them and buy first class seats. If so, what is the cost and process?

Yes. You need to cancel the ticket and buy a new one. You need to go to the train station and cancel the ticket first, then buy a new one at the ticket window. But there will be some cancellation fee from railway authority.
