The previous records tells that the average temperaure is around 3 to 15C during your visiting. So I think a thick sweater and a thick coat is necessary. Or you can even take a thin down jacket in case of the low temperature in rainy days.
For shopping, the jade articles and Pu'er Tea are suggested to buy and it is suggested to go to the formal department store.
The Linshan Restaurant at No. 88, West Renmin Road is suggested.
