About:Chinese Embassy in New Zealand

is that a problem if I only have a flight ticket to Hong Kong but no return ticket out of PRC?

Hi, just before I apllies to tourist visa I'd like to know exactly if I go to mainland China through Hong Kong, travel around and then leave through The Mongolian border. Funds I have enough for proof.

According to the requirements, the round-trip air tickets and hotel booking in PRC are needed if you don't have invitation letter. I think you should confirm this with the Chinese embassy in New Zealand.
