About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Question on 72 hours and rules on ongoing destination.

Can I spend under 72 hours in Shanghai without visa if I travel from a european country (denmark in my case) and then have ongoing ticket for another european country (France in my case)?

I am afraid not if you fly back to European country, but it is ok for you to fly to HK then return.
