About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Does the ticket need to be bought together?

Hi

I am going to Guangzhou this Wednesday and plans to head on to Phuket on Thursday. I have ordered the two tickets separately i.e. one to China from Copenhagen and one from Guangzhou to Phuket. Am I in this case eligible for a 72 hour transit visa even though the ticket has not been bought together?

Thank you very much

Magnus

Yes, it is ok, but you are advised to confirm this with your carrier airline first with the tickets you have.
