visit western hill & dragon gate in kunming

Pls advise, from Fairyland hotel Dongfeng Square, is there any direct bus to reach Western Hill & climb up to Dragon Gate (Longmen) ?Which bus no. shall i take to reach Western Hill from KM railway station ?Thanks

There is no direct bus at least once. From your hotel, you can walk to Jiaoshanqiao Station where you can take the bus line 54 to Jin Puhualu Lukou Station (Renmin Xilu Station) and the at this station, you can try to find line 18 to reach Gaoyao Station and then walk to the entrance. From the Railway Station, you can take the line 61 to get Baima Station where you change to line C8 to get to Mianshan Chechang Station where you can find the direc shuttle bus to the Western Hill. In my opinion, if you have several people, you can hire a car to reach directly.
