About:Stone Forest

Kunming City Centre to Stone forest

How do I get there from Dong Fang Xi Zl Lu ? Which is more convenience ? By bus or train ? How long does't it taken? I have 5 days in KM , can plse recommend an iteniary . Thanks

I tried to think about that road, but I still cannot remember and even cannot find online about that road.

I am staying somewhere at Dong Feng West road. Where should I take bus to the Stone forest ? How much and can we go on our own without joining tour? Or is joining tour cheaper for a group of 5 . Can we go on a day trip ? Thanks

From the local east bus station, you can find the direct buses for the Stone Forest and the bus fare is around 27RMB per person. From your hotel to that bus station, in general, you can walk along the Zhengyi Road to find the Zhengyi Road Bus Stop to take the bus line K9 to get to the East Bus Station directly.
I think touring on your own is much cheaper than joining a group.
