Moving permanent to china and work, what can I do about my visa?

Hi,
I will move to china with my boyfriend, who is holding a Chinese passport. I am holding a Swedish passport. And I am thinking to move there in April and work there. We are planning to get married in 2015. I am wondering which kind do I need to get ? What documents do I need to provide for the application? And what do I need to do when I arrive and what shall the company that hire me need to do?
Thank you

If you plan to work in PRC, you should apply for a Z type first. Your employer should help you acquire the work permit first. Then you can apply for the Z type one in your own country. When you acquire the Z type one, please remember to change it to the temporary resident permit when you come in PRC within one month.

Yes, you need to get a Z in advance if you have got a position there. Your employer should be responsible to apply for a work permit and official invitation letter issued by relevant authorities. By the way, foreigners are not allowed to work on any other types even if they are married to Chinese.
