About:Visa Policy of China

Change of Visa from L to another type

Hi, my Husband study in Chengdu and has Resident permit for study for 3 years, i am also here now with L, can i change it to S1 OR S2 , as L can extend only one month at one time.

I am afraid not, because changing types is not allowed within China. You may need to exit and apply for S type in your home country.

Yo can have a try to renew it inside , as for me i did change mine without leaving china. Go to the PSB and have a try as some areas the PSB personnel still is the one making consideration.
