About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Could I apply for 72 hours visa free stay in Shanghai

My Iternary Flight

29 DEC 13 Flight from (BKK) Bangkok,Thailand 01:55 - (PVG) Shanghai, China 07:00

30 DED 13 Flight from (PVG) Shanghai, China 12:35 - (KIX) Osaka Kansai, Japan 15:40

Hi, because the stopover in Shanghai is less than 24 hours, nothing is require if you will remain in the airport. If you want to go out of the airport during stopover, you need to apply for a Stay Permit showing your passport and flight ticket for leaving.

Attention total my stop over is total 30 Hrs. is over the 24 Hrs. and not more than 72 Hrs.

and Thailand's passport holders is not 45 contries can 72 hrs visa free transit.

Then, you must apply for a transit G in advance from Chinese embassy/consulate.
