Travelling to Taipei on May 2014

May I know is it an idea to travel to that city on May 11th to 17th 2014? Or any better suggestion to avoid raining season and typhoon. Many thanks!

The May is the raining season and the average temperature is around 18 to 28C. For Taipei, the short clothes, T-shirts and a thin coat are necessary.
If you want to aviod the raining season, September to November is the best period.

The typhoon season in Taipei is from June to Sep.
