About:Chinese Consulate in Melbourne

Can I use passport that will expire in 4 months to apply for China visa?

I have booked a hotel in Beijing and my flight is in 11 days..

Sorry, I don't think so. You should apply for a new passport. As the rule says, the applicants must provide a valid passport with the validity of six months and two blank pages at least.

Thanks Jim.. you're right.. but I am lucky as there is a rush service for Chinese visa application.. pay more $$$ though..
