About:Maolan Karst Forest Natural Conservation

Are there any interesting day trips from Taiyuan?

Would like to spend day outside of city, maybe any areas of beauty like lakes, mountains, or any hot springs ect.. somewhere to enjoy nature.

Shanxi is rich in human landscapes and the natural landscapes are very limited. If you want to enjoy the natural beauty, I would like to recommend you to visit Mian Mountain, which is about 180 kilometers from Taiyuan and the transfer takes around 2 hours for one way.

Thanks very much will go and visit, am in Taiyuan in early April 2014 is the site open then?
