Oh, I see and the location you mentioned above is correction.
If you are traveling from Bijie, there are direct buses between Bijie and Weining County. Upon arrival, take a taxi or rent a car to Caohai Lake, which is 5km or a little farther away.
As for the accommodation, it is easy to find at Weining County.1

Hi, thank you for making me aware that there is more than one Caohai Lake in China. The take that I am wanting to go to is located about 3 hours west of Guiyang, Guizhou province.
I hope my location is correct.

The Caopai Lake that I am seeking information about is located near Bijie, about 5 hours Northwest of Guiyang, Guizhou province.
