About:China Transit Visa

Transit right for Bolivian passport

Hi,

I have a bolivian passport, and I'm resident in France. I plan a trip to Australia with connection in China (Shanghai). The connection will be done in the same day as the arrival.
Do I need a visa ? Will I have the right to get out of the airport to make a quick tour (I'll have about 10hrs between my planes) in the city ?

You can get a free stay permit at the airport if you plan to go out for a short tour.

Within 24 hours of the onward flight ticket is visa free, but make sure you stay at the airport. If you want to make a quick tour around the city, you need one.
