Fire Ox and Earth Tiger Compatible? (Taurus and Cancer)

I'm a Fire Ox (Taurus) and the girl I like is a Earth Tiger (Cancer). I have no idea if we are compatible because Taurus and Cancer are compatible however Tigers and Oxes are not. We both use the Chinese and Regular Zodiac so I have no idea what to do. Helps please!
