About:China Visa Application in USA

What documentation do I need to be able to get a Chinese visa?

Hello, I am an Austrian Citizen who is on a Student type one in the U.S , I want to go to PRC in order to visit my grandparents .

Your grandparents are Chinese citizen? If so, you can apply for a Q type (Q1 for more than 180 days and Q2 for less than 180 days). You should provide your passport, filled application form, a photo, an invitation letter from your granparents, a copy of their ID cards and kinship certificate.
