About:Chinese Embassy in Philippines

do we need to apply for a visa going to hk?

Hello..we are going to hk this dec 7-9..we are worried because of the free visit suspension..please reply..thank you

Yes, HK has already cancelled visa-free privilege to citizens of Philippines. You need to apply one in advance before you go there. You'd better ask the HK Immigration Department for details.

Hi since when the Hong kong cancelled the visa free entry for Filipinos? The legislators just passed the bill, but that bill not yet been implemented in Hong kong as a proper law to be followed by the immigration department for the Filipino travellers. Hope the proper and accurate details will be provided to avoid confusion.

Apple jane, your right..they are confusing us but anyway i just message the philippine consulate in hongkong about the issue and they said that visa free is still valid..we just need to check the hk immigration site cause anytime they will implement the suspension of visa free..we need to pray so that we can visit there country hassle free..
