About:Chinese Embassy in Philippines

Do i need a Chinese Visa if I have a flight from Rome to the Philippines and i have a 10 hours stop over in Shanhai, china?

and same thing on my way back to Rome i have 10 hours stop over in Shanghai.

Visa is not required if you will remain in the airport during stopovers.
