one day cruise to the three gorges dam

Hi there I am currently in xi an I wish to visit chonqing to see three gorges dam...is there a one day cruise or bus trip to the site.. 4 day cruise listed would take too much of my holiday time...thanks

The Three Gorges Dam is in Yichang. From CQ, there are direct bus for Yichang, but the buses takes about 8 hours to reach Yichang. The yacht takes about 6 hours from Wanzhou, CQ to Yichang. So I think at least you will need about two days.
