reccommendation to have a visit?

is guilin a recommended place for students to have a visit?i'm student from malaysia..currently choosing either beijing or guilin.hope you can give recommendation.is there any university there for us to visit?

if you plan to visit some universities, Beijing is the best choice. GL is famous for the beautiful scenery, the river and the clean air. My first trip to China is Beijing when I was a student and then several years later, I went to GL and Yangshuo with my family.
