We want to visit Badain Jaran Desert and Zhangye Danxia Landform Geological Park is that possible? We want to take the train from Xian to Zhangye. How many days must we stay overthere to see this?

Yes, it is possible, and the best way to visit both of them is to rent a SUV. Generally, I suggest you stay in the two attractions for at least 4 days for a good visit. If you would rather to tke public bus, 6 days are needed.
