Im doing a humanities report and I need some information on shadow puppets

can someone please answer ASAP.
I need the following
-Who invented shadow puppets
-What was the main use
-Where is this Ritual Practiced today

1. According to the history records, the minister of Li Shaoweng in the Song Dynasty invented that.
2. It's for fun, played on operas in many areas in China.
3. There are different such shows in many areas. Now it gathers in Shaanxi, Gansu and Beijing.

my name is solima. I am doing a master on( Artistic Values of Illustrated Child Story Design Based on the Shadow Puppet ) i want to Proof that the art of shadow puppet evolution to other arts, like silhouette,cinema,animation 2D, 3D, black theater. can you help me by any thing with reference.
