About:Chinese Greetings

Greeting our foreign exchange student's Chinese parents

What is the best way to say hello to them? We are meeting them for the second time, after about 6 years. We want to convey great respect and admiration. Also how do we say "thank you"?

For greeting, you can say "Hao Jiu Bu Jian, Ni Hao MA" (Long time no see. How are you?)

For thank you, you can say "Xie Xie".
