About:Taishan Mountain

I am interested in the idea of walking to the top of Mount Tai and would like to know what is the best way to get to the foot of the mountain.

Is there a metro line that will take me close by or a bus perhaps? Also, I may do this next week, which would be the first week of November. Will weather conditions make such a trip worth while?

Many thanks

Hi, where are you leaving from? Anyway, you can take bus no. 3 at Tai'an Railway Station to its terminus at Hongmen. Upon arrival, you can walk from Hongmen to the top of the Mt.

In early Nov. it will be a little cold there and cloudy days would be the majority. The temp range will be 10C to 20C. Personally, it isstill worth while then and actually, it is still during the best travel season to visit the mount.

Hi

Thanks for the speedy and useful reply. Incidentally, I am currently living in Suzhou so I would be taking the train there.

Oh, then it is suggested to take a high-speed train at Suzhou North Train Station to Tai'an. Then at Tai'an Train Station, use the way I mentioned above for your trip.
