Why does my warrior loose it's color?

I have a terracotta warrior replica from China. It was a gift. I like it much and want to purchase more, to have my own army. But I wonder why my black colored warrior looses it's color, when I touch it?

Hi, maybe it is oxidised or it's made of bad materials.
