Nov 2-3: any Buddhist/island festival on Putuo Shan?

Hi, I would like to go to Putuo Shan during the weekend of Nov 2-3. I was advised not to visit the island during any holidays or festivals in order to avoid the crowds. Will there be any celebration on the island on Nov 2-3? I tried to look on the internet, but couldn't find any conclusive answer.
