About:Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station

hi, i am planning to go to suzhou from shanghai.

i will be staying at the bund area. which station should i take the high speed rail from and how do i get to the train station? is it accessible using the metro?

Walk from the Bund to East Nanjing Road Subway Station to take local subway line 2 to People's Square, where transfer to line 1 to SH Railway Station. There you can take a high-speed train to Suzhou within 35-40min.
