Monks chanting

We will be in Lhasa and would very much like to hear monks chanting. Can you tell us how to find this. We will be visiting Ganden Monastery and have read that one can hear monks chanting there but we can not find out what days and what times. We can also visit any other monastery in the Lhasa area that you suggest. We would appreciate any help you can give us.

I heard that in Sera Monastery, the monks will chant at around 16:00 in the afternoon and it lasts for one hour.

At Ganden, monks will chant in the main assembly hall every day before lunch time which would be just before 12 o'clock.

When ever I go to Ganden, I departure from Lhasa around 9 am. At the time I arrive in Ganden, I always happen to be lucky to see the monks chanting. It is great to donate at that exact moment as well.
