About:Chinese Embassy in Cambodia

Asking about applying visa going to China

Hello,I'm Lyn .. I just want to ask if I can get a L type here in Cambodia? I'm from Philippines but I'm working here almost 1 year in Cambodia. I just want to visit my dearest family friend. Is it possible to go there from here in Cambodia without going back to my country "Philippines?
Is it possible? THank you

Yes, you can apply from the Chinese embassy in Cambodia as long as you have the resident permit for working in Cambodia.

Hi Henry.. But we don't have resident permit here,,,we're just living at house for the staff..
So,.. if ever how could i get that resident permit?

Well, I think you should have valid legal status (resident permit, visa or any other valid resident proof for example) in Cambodia. If you can't provide it, I am afraid that you may not apply successfully in Cambodia. Here is another way. Fly to HK and apply one there.

Ahh,,,Just visa its ok? Beause I really don't have resisdent permit,and I don't know how to get that.. I'm not sure in Hk if they still can issue one to me before u enter to PRC,without having one from my country. BEcause I remember They will not giving u if you don't have yet Chinese one from Philippines. So,I'm afraid the rules now in HK.

You can have a try to apply with your Cambodian visa anyway.
