About:Guangzhou Food

hi, im coming over for the canton fair in next week, staying at hotel baiyun (i think), are there any good resturants near the hotel?

also are there any near shopping centers? and if there are whats the usuall closing time?

If you mean the Baiyun Hotel near Taojin Subway Station, there is a big shopping mall near your hotel and along Taojin Road, many shops can be found. So please do not worry about shopping issue. Usually, the closing time is at around 21:00 at night.
For meals, it is not a big problem. Taojin Station is very close to many local houses, so the restaurants are easy to find.

Yes, there are vegetarian restuarants nearby.
One called Lianchijingxintang Restaurant at No. 15, Heping Road and it is about 1km from your hotel by walking. From your hotel, you can walk along the East Huanshi Road to reach Heping Road to reach that restaurant.
Near Taojin, many Indian restaurants can also be found.
