Hongkong/China Trip

I will be in HK on 2/14/14 up to the 19th for 5 days and plan to visit the Great Wall of China. Whats is the best and cheapest way to go there? Is there a ferry service from HK to Shenzhen?

Hi, u must refer to the micro Great Wall in the Splendid China in Shenzhen, right? It is suggested to take East Rail line at Hung Hom MTR Station, HK to Lo Wu. Then cross the border to Luo Hu, Shenzhen. Then at Luo Hu subay station, take localo Luobao metro line to OCT station, which is within walking distance from the Spenid China. This is convenient and cheapest.

And there is ferry service between HK and Shenzhen. You can take that at HK-Maucau Ferry Terminal to Shekou Port, where transfer to Shekou subway line and then Luobao line to OCT.

I see. You can transfer from HK to Shenzhen through train, bus or ferry. Then take a train or direct plane to Beijing. The famous sections of Great Wall in Beijing are Badaling and Mutianyu.
To Badaling: take a train at local North Train Station near Xizhimen Station to reach.
To Mutianyu: at Dongzhimen Station, find bus no. 867, which can take u there directly.
