About:Visa Policy of China

Can I change/get a multiple entry visa from my current X2 single entry?

I have an x2 and am currently in china participating in an internship, but it is singe entry. I would like to be able to visit Macau and hong kong during my stay here.

It was possible to apply for extension with one more entry before, but I am not sure is this still allowed based on the new regulations in July, 2013. You are advised to contact a local travel agency or visit the PSB directly for more information.

P.S. if the duration of stay issued to your X2 is expiring soon, it is ok for you to visit HK and Macao directly, and apply for a new Chinese visa in HK.
